Mhada Konkan Mandal Lottery 2023 : Not even 50 thousand applications, till last day 49 thousand 919 applications for 4654 houses

The pre-allotment process (application-sale-acceptance) for allotment of 4654 houses (including 14 blocks) of Konkan Mandal of MHADA ended on Friday. Till the last day, 48 thousand 919 applications have been submitted with deposit amount. For the past few years, lakhs of applications have been received for Konkan Mandal houses, but this year the number of applications has not even crossed the mark of 50,000.

The number of applications has not crossed the 50,000 mark this year. But at the same time the most satisfying and important thing is that all 48 thousand 919 applicants are eligible. Hence, whoever emerges as the winner will be guaranteed 100 percent housing. Winners will stay away from the house only if the winner rejects the house. The houses rejected by the winners will be distributed to the winners on the waiting list. In the new draw process, the waiting list was closed permanently. But later the waiting list has been maintained to some extent. Accordingly there will be 20 percent waiting list for this draw. Rejected houses will be distributed to winners on the waiting list.
